Naperville Unit District 203 launched a map of proposed new school boundaries and will begin presentations this week on the adjustments that could influence one,204 scholars, or 7 percent of the district's college student population.

In addition to boundary adjustments, the district also may possibly add rooms at some structures to accommodate the proposed all-day kindergarten programs.


Highlands father or mother Dawn Soukup explained she believes overcrowding need to be addressed independently from the space demands for new plans.


 The movement of young children need to not have been initial,  she said.  We need to have more data about all-day kindergarten and all the other plans they want to place into colleges and how considerably they cost ... prior to they move youngsters. 


The enrollment committee will fulfill once more Feb. 15 and expects to make a recommendation to the school board Feb. 21.
